The school encourages its students to take part in international competitions, seminars, workshops etc. This gives them an international exposure and boosts their confidence.

The school football team has participated thrice in the Subroto Mukerjee Cup Football Tournament, which is one of the most prestigious inter-state tournaments held in India.

In September - October, 1999, Galaxians won the Sub-junior Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament in India.

The school senior football team won laurels for their country by winning the 13th Limca Cup in New Delhi in Sept.-Oct. 1998. This is a highly prestigious football tournament in which football teams from all states of India take part.

In 1996 Nishma Gurung of Std. 12, a student of the school, represented Nepal in swimming at the Olympics in Atlanta. She also participated in the 13th Asian Games held in Bangkok. Students also attended training camps in North Korea, South Korea and India.

In 1997, at the 8- National Wushu championships in Moscow, students of the school won laurels for Nepal by winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in different events. The school basketball team won the first prize in the competition held in Dehra Dun, India. The U14 school football team participated in the Subroto Mukherjee Cup 2002. A 42-member team from the school visited Taipei to participate in the 35th International Day in 2002.

In 2004, seven members team went to Bangladesh to participate in the 7th ICSQCC which was held in Dhaka. The presentations made by the students were outstanding. They were able to win two prestigious trophies.
